Where is the conference located this year?
CareForum 2019 is located in Kansas City, Missouri — a city known for it's rich jazz culture and world-famous barbeque — at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The hotel is an easy walk to the exciting entertainment at Power & Light District, the Crossroads Art District's local museums and galleries, and many shops and restaurants.

How do I book a hotel room?
To view hotel information and book a room, click here. WellSky's room block is completely full at the conference hotel, the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. However, we invite you to book your hotel stay at the Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown hotel.

 

How do I update my hotel reservation?

Are continuing education units (CEUs) available?
Yes! At CareForum 2019, we’re offering CEUs for nursing professionals, physical therapists, and respiratory therapists. After the conference, a link will be distributed to complete the online evaluation questionnaire, which will tally individual credit hours. After you complete the questionnaire, you can immediately print a certificate of attendance. We will provide the following CEUs:

  • Nursing Accreditation (ANCC)
  • Accreditation for CA Board of Nursing
  • Accreditation for Physical Therapists
  • Accreditation for AARC

*P.A.C.E.® credits are also available for medical technologists and clinical lab professionals.

What does the registration cost include?
Your registration includes access to all class sessions, CEU credits for eligible industries/professionals, pre-conference product sessions, breakfast, snacks, and lunch during the pre-conference and main conference days, along with the welcome reception, customer appreciation dinner and entertainment.

 

Are you offering a companion package this year?
No, we are no longer offering a companion package. Because of the growth of our conference, conference sessions, activities, and meals are only available to conference registrants.

 

Is there a group discount?
No, there is no group discount.

 

Will there be Wi-Fi and/or internet access at the conference?
Yes! Attendees and exhibitors will have Wi-Fi internet access in meeting rooms for basic email, general web browsing and social media use. Login information will be shared via email prior to the start of the conference and also available via the mobile app.

 

How do I get to the conference? What transportation options are available from the airport?
From the Kansas City International Airport (MCI): It’s an 18-mile drive to the conference hotel, and without rush-hour traffic, it will take about 20-25 minutes. The airport has shuttle and taxi services available, and Kansas City also has popular rideshare programs, including Uber and Lyft.
