President, CareJourney

WellSky is proud to announce our keynote speaker for CareForum 2019: Aneesh Chopra, the former and first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the United States. Chopra previously served in the White House under President Barack Obama and as the Secretary of Technology for the state of Virginia. He is one of the nation’s foremost technology and public policy experts. Currently, Chopra is president of CareJourney, an open data intelligence service that empowers care coordination, gap closures, and patient engagement across health care settings. Chopra is also the founder and executive vice president of Hunch Analytics, a “hatchery” he co-founded to incubate ideas that improve the productivity of health and education markets. In 2014, Chopra published his forward-thinking book, Innovative State: How New Technologies Can Transform Government, discussing how government can better leverage technology to solve some of the most challenging problems, including economic development and veteran affairs.
