As the HMIS Project Director with the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH), Gerry Leslie oversees both the Michigan Statewide HMIS and the North Carolina HMIS systems. Mr. Leslie is experienced in helping communities with the implementation of coordinated systems of care, project evaluation, continuous quality improvement initiatives, monitoring system performance and outcomes and the development of HMIS policies and procedures. Prior to joining MCAH, he was the System Administrator for Flint/Genesee County and coordinated work around the CoC’s plan to end homelessness.
Mr. Leslie is the chair of the Retooling the Homeless Crisis System State Workgroup for the State of Michigan, and serves on the Michigan Campaign to End Homelessness’ Strategic Implementation Group. Additionally, he is a member of the Michigan Collaborative State Partners to End Homelessness Committee.
Mr. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan-Flint.
