Suzanne Kauserud is a Vice President in the Continuing Care Division of Carolinas HealthCare System. She is the Administrator of Carolinas Rehabilitation - Charlotte, a freestanding 70 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility specializing in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Oncology Rehabilitation Care. Suzanne is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. Suzanne was instrumental in creating EQUADR (Exchanged Quality Data for Rehabilitation) Network a Patient Safety Organization, established to share quality outcomes amongst rehabilitation providers and define the most appropriate quality indicators for the inpatient rehabilitation setting. She has helped to shape quality measures for the inpatient rehabilitation field through her work as chair of the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association’s (AMRPA) Quality Committee.
