Michael has served in a senior leadership role as Vice President and General Manager for WellSky’s Blood Management division since 2011, with fiscal and operational responsibility for the blood and cell therapy business areas. Prior to joining WellSky, Michael served as the U.S. Sales, Marketing and Technical Services Director for Roche Diagnostics and as the Director of Marketing for Baxter Healthcare. In these roles, Michael was responsible for leading sales, marketing, strategic planning, national accounts and technical services initiatives. He also served in senior leadership positions and led Blood Center operations, serving as Executive Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer at The Blood Center in New Orleans, and as the Executive Director for Blood Systems in Chicago, with overall fiscal and operational responsibility.Throughout his career, Michael has served on a number of committees and boards within the blood industry. He earned his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in IL, and his BA from the University of Iowa.
