Erica Smith, RN, BSN, serves as Director of Nursing at Intrmed Plus Infusion Services in Columbia, South Carolina. She has been practicing nursing for over 20 years and her passion to help others led her to her current position. She has an extensive background in intensive care, cardiovascular recovery, and PICC line insertions at some of South Carolina's most well known hospitals. In addition to her day-to-day duties, Erica is currently overseeing initiatives focused on significantly improving patient care, satisfaction, and outcomes. She is currently the project manager for the Citus Health integration at Intramed Plus. She is committed to increasing collaboration and communication between patients, clinicians and other healthcare partners to improve patient care and outcomes. She is very active in enhancing the patient experience and promoting patient engagement.
