Dr. Keller is the Executive Director of National Laboratories at the American Red Cross, overseeing the AABB-accredited American Red Cross National Molecular Laboratory and National Reference Laboratory for Specialized Testing, both in Philadelphia, and the National Neutrophil Laboratory in St Paul, Minnesota. These laboratories are involved in serologic and molecular testing of donors and patients for red cell, platelet, and neutrophil antigens. She is also director of the American Rare Donor Program (ARDP). Dr. Keller received her PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Pennsylvania. She is ARDP liaison to the Molecular Testing Standards Unit of the AABB and the secretary of the ISBT Working Party on Red Cell Immunogenetics and Blood Group Terminology. Dr. Keller is on the board of South Central Association of Blood Banks. Dr Keller is adjunct Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and is editor-in-chief of the journal Immunohematology.
