Christina Sommerfield started her journey in home care 31 years ago when she was hired as a caregiver during college at West Chester University, where she graduated with a BS in public health/health administration. Prior to joining Griswold in September of 2020, Christina spent seven years with Aveanna Healthcare, where she served as Area Vice President of Operations, Executive Director, and Senior Client Relations Director. Her dynamic approach to leading cross-functional teams and building relationships at all levels successfully increased account penetration and leads, which converted into revenue growth opportunities. Her commitment to growing Griswold’s company owned offices is proven through her consistent value-based leadership and passion for engaging and helping others achieve organizational goals with strategic planning and process improvement. In her spare time, Christina loves spending time with her two grandsons and enjoying outdoor activities including biking, boating, skiing, and playing field hockey internationally on the USA Women’s Masters team.
