Roger began his nursing career in 2014, working with troubled teens in a medical clinic. He then moved to the position of Care Coordinator for a geriatric unit in Bolivar. Wanting to work more locally, he chose to move to Lake Regional. He began his career in home health at Lake Regional in 2017 as a case manager. He moved to RN Quality Specialist in March 2019, working to ensure timely completion of all documentation and regulatory compliance. Roger was very involved in the set up and transition to WellSky later in 2019. He moved to the RN Lead position with the opening of the new Lebanon branch in 2021 and served there until assuming the role of Program Coordinator in Mid-January of this year. Roger received his bachelor's in nursing at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He also has a bachelor's in biochemistry from University of Missouri and a master's from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Roger and his wife, Tammie, just celebrated their 41st anniversary and have 3 children and 11 grandchildren.
