This presentation will provide a summary of the work to date on development of a Unified Post-Acute Care Prospective Payment System (PAC PPS).  A Unified PPS would include long term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and home health settings.  The presentation will focus on the Research Triangle Institute Technical Expert Panel currently convened as well as a summary of the MedPAC proposal for a Unified PAC PPS.
