Gianna joined WellSky Blood Management Technologies (formerly Mediware) almost a decade ago, as a Clinical Software Specialist focusing on Donor and Plasma enhancements. Later, she transitioned to Mediware’s Learning Management System (LMS) known as BloodTrak, working to improve the user experience and training requirements. Currently she is involved in working prototypes for Transfusion future state, exploring Emergency and MTP workflows on new platforms, including fully functional products on mobile devices. Patient safety, compliance and user-guided intuitive workflows are her priority when considering new product development. Gianna was born and raised in Kansas City, holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas, and currently resides in Jacksonville, FL.
